What is the return policy?
Absolutely, you have 30 days from receiving your lamp to get a full refund or new model. Just make sure the lamp is in original condition and packaging. We pay the return shipping.
Which light bulbs should I use?
All E26 lightbulbs work with the on/off switch, however thedimmer will not work with all LEDs.You need a FILAMENT / INCANDESCENT bulb in order to use the dimmer OR a "Dimmable" LED.
I personally recommend "E26 Vintage Edison" Bulbs for a beautiful glow.
Keep that in mind when purchasing the lightbulbs for your Rocketlamp!

I make each lamp by hand. it takes about 2-3 days to complete the process. Shipping will take around 2-4 days.
It takes time, care and craft. Your lamp is likely being made as you read this sentence.

We hand-craft everything at our workshop in vancouver. The only exception is the cord & light sockets.

This lamp is absolutely gorgeous!! I love it! The customer service team at Kismet was wonderful and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
I originally saw an ad on Facebook by a competitor who had copied the rocket lamp design. When I compared and learned that the Kismet lamps are handmade and designed to look mid-century modern, I knew it would complement my other furniture. The look was so appealing, I had to get one. First, I bought the dark walnut floor lamp with a dimmable feature. Then last night I ordered a second one in white oak (an unreleased wood version). The rocket lamps are stellar (pun intended).
These lamps are fantastic, they look great and the quality is amazing. Had a few issues with shipping to the US, but Ivan handled everything. A+ all around!
We had been looking for a pair of floor lamps for some time now but never found any that were "right". The Rocketlamp not only looks fabulous but they are extremely well made and, importantly, made here in Canada. They look right at home in our mid-century living room!

The wood frame is a beautifully rich colour velvety smooth. The textured shade produces a warm light- great for a comfy ambiance.

Received our new lamp and absolutely love it. The quality of workmanship & materials was obvious the moment you open the well packed box. Easy instructions & on line videos to get it setup properly & quickly were included along with a personal note from the artist maker. We couldn’t be more happy with our purchase of this perfect addition to our home. I also appreciated the high level of customer service, texts & emails during shipping process.
he lamps are both well built, beautifully finished and amazingly MCM. I could not figure out where to put it so I ordered two. Even my partner who could not give a furry crack of a rat’s behind about deco mentionned how they perfectly round up the decor. In addition, always happy to support a Canadian business for products made in Canada 🇨🇦
We ordered 2 floor lamps because we had a vintage version of similar lamps that broke and were so excited to see these new lamps pop up in our feed. They were easy to assemble but sturdy and well-made to last. The lamp gives a nice soft glow thanks to the dimmer— would recommend a low watt tungsten type bulb for warm dreamy glow. The design looks so slick and classic. Thanks!

Several years ago during a move from CA to TX, my prized MCM floor lamp was damaged during the move. I've searched for years to find a suitable replacement and several years later...I found it! I have recently renovated my home in a mid century style. I filled it with original Canadian art work, but I wasn't done. My issue? A corner that just needed some warm light from a lamp that complimented my style. I cannot believe that I found the answer in this Rocketlamp! The lampshade seems to have popped right out of the early 60’s, and the walnut wood is goregeous. It has definitely changed our music room for the better! We ordered in late June and received the lamp on 28 July. But free shipping, hey!
I don't feel one way or the other about the floor lamp, as I did not receive one. However, I do like the design of the table lamp and would appreciate suggestions for treating the wood. Smooth, beautiful grain.
The design of the lamp is what originally attracted me.
Lamp took longer to arrive than anticipated but that was due to increased orders. It was worth the wait.
Assembly was cleverly designed & explained by helpful video. Would have like directions provided in writing also.
My only complaint is regarding the finishing. Some of the wood had not been sanded as well as it should have been so is very rough to the touch.
But overall I love the lamp!!
Redesigning an office into a reading nook. Beautiful lamp. Love the quality. May need to add a mini rocket to complete the look once the room is finished!
