Factory Second FAQ
What's a factory second?
The are lamps with cosmetic flaws. We couldn't sell them as new due to a small issue. In some cases, the only flaw is that the wood is not consistent.
All lamps are 100% functional and work perfectly — only the wood is affected.
Do factory seconds come with brass numbered tags?
We do not number factory seconds the same way we number brand new lamps & do not come with brass tags.
What's the difference between "A" grade and "B" grade?
"A" grade lamps are nearly perfect — in most cases the flaws are purely natural and not caused my manufacturing error. We often cannot remember why some lamps end up in this catagory because the issue is so small we cannot find it.
"B" grade lamps have more noticeable flaws — they are true "factory seconds".
All our factory seconds lamps have been carefully sorted to ensure customer satisfaction and we removed any lamps we deemed unfit to own in our own homes, or yours.
All flaws are purely cosmetic and do not affect functionality whatsoever.
When will I get my order?
We will ship your order by friday, the following week. After you have placed it.
Expect 10 days to recieve it anywhere in Canada.
Return policy
We offer our usual 30 day guarantee on our factory second products. If at any point you are dissatisfied, please reach out and we will organize a return & refund.
We do not offer free return shipping due to the extremely discounted price.
Can I get a dimmer with my lamp?
Factory seconds come with non-dimmable switches by default. Dimmer add-ons can be purchased separately.
Are these final sale?
No — the same 30-day return policy applies as our regular lamps.
You can return your lamp within 30 days for a refund. Return shipping is at your own cost, which helps us keep seconds priced this low.
